Hatem leads KPMG Jordan and Palestine practices as well as he is leading the business in Iraqi market, with a team of over 170 professionals covering projects across industries throughout Jordan, Iraq and Palestine. He has an extensive 30 years of senior management experience and a solid background as a market strategic planner.
Hatem has expertise in advising commercial companies, not-for-profit organizations and governmental institutions on capacity building, institutional development, business improvement, and strengthening the financial management, internal controls, and taxation.
Hatem provides to many local and international clients, spanning the whole services spectrum from external audit, internal audit, strategy planning & formation, feasibility studies, business planning, devising acquisition/disposal strategies to performing valuations and due diligence reviews, preparing information memoranda & identifying and negotiating with potential investors.
Hatem serves a wide client portfolio in particular subsidiaries of multinational listed banks, local banks, financial institutions and mutual Companies. In addition to assurance, Hatem has significant experience of performing due diligence reviews for top-tier companies, business planning and structuring of operations for inward investments. He has also worked on a number of global cross border transactions, acquisitions and related transactions. In addition, he was also responsible for corporate and personal income tax services and had advised many international companies on Jordanian tax issues.
Hatem plays a key role in leading client relationship development and performance management strategies to more fully expand the exposure and scope of the Client’s service capabilities.
